July 1 - Josh + Bex - Sold Out
Josh + Bex are a Canadian Dream Folk duo out of Kelowna BC. Josh, with his Eastern soul-folk vibes and Bex, her melody-driven West Coast influence, together they make music that captures their vulnerabilities and draws listeners into their world with a deeply-rooted transparency and heart-forward presence. Josh + Bex won the ‘’Inside the Festival’’, emerging new artist contest in 2019 where they performed at the internationally acclaimed Salmon Arm Roots and Blues Festival.
Their sound is a unique blend of their individual histories and personal truths along the way to figuring out who they are as people, as well as song-writers. With their spellbinding harmonies and sophisticated yet rustic sound, they bear a resemblance to similar minded acts such as The Civil Wars, Angus & Julia Stone, and Johnny Cash & June Carter...but with a little Fleetwood Mac and Tim Burton mixed in. Their melodies and lyrics meet at the intersection of hope and sorrow – giving space to let their songs explore light, love, pain, and the great wonders of Mother Earth. Josh + Bex released their self-titled EP in October 2019..

July 29 - Daniel James McFadyen - Sold Out
Daniel James McFadyen is an award-winning indie-folk artist whose expressive lyricism, charismatic stage presence, and road-worn storytelling have made him one of Canada’s most compelling contemporary voices. His 2025 sophomore album, Back To The Country (LHM Records), marks a defining moment in his artistic evolution—an intimate, organic, and boldly confident full-length that leans into the Americana/Canadiana textures he has grown increasingly known for.
Recorded live off the floor in a cabin on British Columbia’s Shuswap Lake with producer Cole Friesen, the album captures an unpolished, lived-in warmth. Across its 11 tracks, McFadyen weaves themes of disillusionment, hope, daydreaming, heartbreak, humour, and the search for home. From the barn-burning stomp of “Spinnaker (I’m Leavin’),” to the wistful ache of “Hurt My Heart,” to the wry charm of “Landmine,” Back To The Country showcases a songwriter stepping fully into his voice.
McFadyen’s rise has been powered equally by his dynamic, deeply interactive live shows. His cross-Canada tours have sold out major venues—including Toronto’s Great Hall, Halifax’s Marquee Ballroom, and Ottawa’s Overflow Brewing—cultivating a devoted and ever-growing fanbase. In 2024, he earned three Music Nova Scotia Awards, the most of any artist that year, cementing his status as a breakout performer.
Now in 2026, Daniel James McFadyen continues to carve out his place within the modern folk landscape—bridging heartfelt storytelling with the communal spirit of classic Canadian songwriting. With Back To The Country defining a new era in his sound, McFadyen stands firmly at the forefront of a new generation of Canadian troubadours

August 6 - Field Guide
Over the past five years, Field Guide has quietly built a reputation as one of Canada’s most compelling new songwriters. With a sound that blends folk intimacy, indie production, and timeless pop sensibilities, he’s taken his music from a Winnipeg basement to international stages and festivals.
After his 2019 debut Full Time, Field Guide broke out with the 2020 EP You Were, whose title track found a wide audience thanks to early Spotify support. Subsequent projects showcased his range: collaborations with Toronto indie-darling Georgia Harmer, debut full-length Make Peace With That, and a full reimagining of Coldplay’s Parachutes featuring Lizzy McAlpine, Begonia, and Dizzy.
His 2022 self-titled LP, co-produced with longtime collaborator Kris Ulrich, was recorded during one of Manitoba’s coldest winters on record and later mixed by Daniel James Goodwin (Bonny Light Horseman, Goose), the record led to an 18-city European tour supporting Penny & Sparrow, followed by Field Guide’s first North American headline run with sold-out stops at Mohawk in Austin and The Basement in Nashville. Festival highlights include Winnipeg Folk Festival, Mariposa, Treefort, Mile of Music, SXSW and The Great Escape. He has also spent much time on the road as support for artists including Bahamas, SYML, Wild Rivers, and Leif Vollebekk.
